After living in northern New Jersey for 27 years and raising 4 wonderful children, I returned home to the Poconos. While living in NJ, I learned how to decorate wreaths from a kind older lady. She also taught me how to decorate small pumpkins. This practice lead me to decorating bird houses. All of my birdhouses as well as wreaths and pumpkins are one-of-a kind. I do Sports, Bridal, Man Caves, Gingerbread, Haunted house, Easter, Candy, Ice Cream Parlors, Churches, Casinos, Fishing and Hunting Lodges, but am open to suggestion. Staining, painting or left natural, all my birdhouses are meant to be displayed indoors, but on occasion some people left them outside where birds and squirrels could not resist the cute little items. It takes about 1 week to complete the birdhouse. I also do grapevine and real Christmas and Autumn wreaths. If I am fortunate enough to find it, I also make Bittersweet wreaths. Swags are available as well. Most of the items used are from Mother Nature, the rest is store bought. Snickers Crafts is named after my 4 year old companion skunk, Snickers.
